Can companies advertise on these database pages ?

Yes, this is possible, also on the home page of IAAS World.
Please contact iaas@iaasworld.org for more information.

Can I still change my application ?

If your status is still black, you can change your application through the student login. If your statis is white, only the administrator can change your information.

My exchange programme is over. What to do next ?

First of all, the exchange coordinator of the country where you had your expro, should confirm the successful expro. If he/she didn't yet, send him/her an e-mail !
Secondly, you have to fill in your evaluation form and report. If you lost the e-mail with the link you need for that, contact the helpdesk.
When these two steps are taken, your exchange coordinator will pay you back your deposit.

What can I use the password for ?

With your ID and password you can login on te student page. On this page you can check at any time what is the status of your application: white (approved), reserved or placed. As long as your status is still black (not approved), you can also change your application form. After the approvement, this is not possible anymore.

What happens when a students deadline for confirmation is over ?

When the deadline for confirmation is over, the student receives an e-mail to postpone the deadline or to cancel his/her application.
If the application is cancelled at this time, the student will get back the fee and deposit.
When the end of the 'period able to work' is over, the student's application is cancelled automatically.
A student that is not in the database anymore is called Brown.

What if my question is not in this list ?

With more questions, you can contact our helpdesk on helpdesk@iaasworld.org

What is a brown student ?

A student is called brown when the student is not in the database anymore because he/she was placed, because his/her period able to work has finished or because the student cancelled the application.

What is my exchange fee used for if I get a place ?

You only don't get back your fee if an IAAS country offered you a place
The country that places you makes some costs to arrange your exchange programme. They get a fixed fee to cover telephone, mailing and transportation costs.
Another part of your exchange fee is used to pay the cost of this on-line database and to keep the headquarters running.

What to do If I want to cancel my application ?

If your status is still Black, your exchange coordinator can still delete your application. If your status is already white, you can send an e-mail to helpdesk@iaasworld.org If you were not yet reserved or placed by a country, you will get back your money.

What to do if my country is not in the member list of IAAS ?

Only students from member and candidate member universities can take part in our exchange programme.
If you want to become member of IAAS, contact our headquarters on iaas@iaasworld.org

When do I get my money back ?

The exchange FEE: You get back the fee if we didn't find a place that fulfilled your criteria.

The DEPOSIT: You get back the deposit if we didn't find a place that fulfilled your criteria or if you fill in the evaluation form afther your exchange programme.

Where can l find archimedes places?

Archimedes is not yet online but you can just see some of the places advertised. If you click archimedes on the expro page, you will view some of the places at the bottom of the page.

Who can see my personal information ?

Only the exchange coordinator of your own country and the exchange coordinator of the country interested to place you can see your information. IAAS does not give the information to companies or other organisations.
